We have recently closed our Melbourne showroom. Frank Gessler, who created Home Office Made Easy in the year 2000, launched it as a mobile operation. After eighteen months, he came to the belief that a showroom was a necessary part of running a retail furniture business, and set up the first showroom on Camberwell road, in East Hawthorn.
But now in 2021, with the high cost of rent, the cost of running a showroom, and people feeling more comfortable buying on-line, he has reverted to the initial mobile model, where “We come to you”.
